Three Austin addresses, three separate conversations
SMP of Austin’s public information points to North Lamar Boulevard, Suite 420. Scalpp’s Austin address is on South Lamar Boulevard, Suite B1, Loft 18. Michael Angelo SMP identifies Suite C215 on Research Boulevard. Reading those suite details before booking helps distinguish the businesses; a search result saying only “Austin SMP” leaves out information you will need for the visit.
We excluded a search candidate whose Austin address was paired with a link to a Houston location page. That mismatch does not establish that the business is unavailable. It means this directory had not yet obtained sufficiently clear Austin-specific information for that entry. The three cards shown here are the reviewed subset, not a claim to list every studio serving the city.
For a separate Texas market, the San Antonio SMP directory identifies Broadway and Culebra Road references. Its local address notes distinguish a regional brand label from a confirmed treatment office.
A package quote needs a different comparison
Michael Angelo’s website describes package-based treatment with required sessions included, rather than a separate charge for each session. It also discusses follow-up arrangements. Obtain the current written package terms for your case; we have not converted that description into an advertised Austin dollar amount.
The distinction is useful when reviewing the Colombia offer. Pigment Pro’s stated $480 USD is a session rate. Before deciding which budget is lower, identify the work and visits covered by the Austin package and the number of Colombian sessions proposed for you. The USA and Colombia pricing guide separates session arithmetic from a complete trip so that those costs do not get mixed together.
Ask about the result you intend to maintain
The Michael Angelo site separates shaved-head, thinning-hair and transplant-related work. Scalpp advertises several SMP applications across its Texas practice, while SMP of Austin presents its scalp work from the North Lamar studio. Ask each business which practitioner and examples are relevant to the specific result you want. A broad treatment menu alone does not show how your assessment would be handled.
The shaved-head treatment resource is a starting point for discussing a cropped look. If your question concerns visible scalp between longer hairs, use the density guide instead. Bring the same questions to each consultation, but leave the proposed design and appointment plan to the practitioner assessing you.
Plan the appointments before choosing travel dates
For an Austin departure, the flight search preselects AUS and an arrival at MDE for the Medellín area. It does not supply a recommended length of stay. Ask Pigment Pro for available appointment dates and the expected gaps between visits before entering your outward and return dates. A flight search cannot determine a treatment schedule.
Your decision also involves the practical route back to the artist. With an Austin studio, ask where the later check will happen and how it is booked. With the Colombia partner, clarify how the practitioner will respond once you are back in Texas and what circumstances might require another visit. Put those answers beside the full budget, including accommodation and airport transfers, rather than comparing two headline prices in isolation.
Questions about SMP in Austin
Which Austin studios are currently in this directory?
The reviewed list contains SMP of Austin, Scalpp’s Austin location and Michael Angelo SMP. The listing cards identify their separate street addresses and suites.
Is an Austin package directly comparable with $480 per session in Colombia?
Only after the scope and included appointments are made clear. Ask for the complete treatment amount on both sides, then add travel to the Colombia budget.
Why is an Austin search result sometimes left out?
A result may need further review when its address, service evidence or branch website does not clearly agree. Missing from this reviewed subset does not mean that a studio is closed.
